Money

People come to us with lots of problems about money. Although we can’t help with direct financial advice we can make sure that your benefits are correct. We can also help with disability living allowance forms and claims for other benefits. FAIR information officers can also help with appeals for benefits.

We can also look for extra help with money by putting you in touch with trusts and charities. You may be able to get money from them for holidays, equipment or even to pay off debts.

We also have copies of the Being in Control of your money booklets for carers and people with learning difficulties. To get a copy either ring 0131 662 1962 or email us.

We have investigated the problems that people in Edinburgh have had and what can be done to solve them.
