New Rules about Data Protection and Privacy

New rules say we have to record what information we hold about people and what we do with it. This covers clients and people that get this newsletter.

This means that:

  1. FAIR will ONLY use your information for the purposes for which we hold that information.
  2. FAIR will make sure that you have given consent for the purposes for which we hold that information.  You can take away consent at any time.
  3. You can ask to see what information we hold for you at any time.
  4. You can ask that your name and/or any of your details be deleted at any time.
  5. We will do our best to keep all the information we hold up to date and accurate.
  6. FAIR will aim to keep all the information we keep about you in secure locations.
  7. FAIR will never give out your information to anyone outside of FAIR unless you say we can.
  8. FAIR will keep information on you only for as long as it is needed and will delete, destroy or take your name off that information normally after six years for clients or right away for newsletter subscribers.
  9. If any of the personal information we hold on you is lost, stolen or otherwise breached we will contact you right away and tell you what we are doing about it.
